Kristi Scholten, Director of Forensics and Assistant Professor of Communication
Kristi Scholten did her undergraduate work at Central Michigan University where she competed primarily in individual events. Upon graduation she continued her MA studies at Central Michigan while coaching individual events. Her PhD was completed at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she added debate coaching to her resume. Her first full-time coaching and teaching position was at Ferris State University, where she served as Director of Debate and nurtured a parliamentary debate program.
