Susan Presley

Susan, Forensics' non-traditional (old) student member, is an inter-dimensional being, splitting her existence between Missouri, her childhood home, and Texas, where she led her other childhood.   She is a retired Japanese Whaling Commission member, starting her early career by swabbing the decks, working her way up to lead harpoonist.  After an epiphany during which a bright light shone and a whale spoke to her, quoting the combined works of Kafka and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Susan changed her seafaring ways and returned to college.  Her adult son shared the epiphany, and works in management for Greenpeace while dabbling in writing PR notes. Susan's debate skills are largely self-taught and she remains undefeated, in her own estimation (with reality being quite different).  She is a junior Communication major, hoping to graduate sometime before collecting Social Security.  Susan aspires to use her experience in the medical field to achieve a second career in health care journalism.
